

Jeff Herman has over 20 years of experience as a designer at Apple, Yahoo!, the MIT Media Lab, and eBay. As Senior Director at eBay, he led a group of 70 designers and was responsible for the design of eBay sites around the world.
He holds 9 patents and has been a guest speaker at CHI, BayCHI, Adaptive Path’s User Experience Week, Stanford University, UC-Berkeley, and other leading design conferences and programs. He’s also on the Advisory Board of a Silicon Valley startup.
He earned a master’s degree in Media Arts and Sciences from the MIT Media Lab and a bachelor’s degree in business from The University of Texas.

Simona Brusa Pasqué has 10 years of professional experience leveraging design to achieve business and customer goals. She has a broad range of skills, covering blue-sky thinking to hands-on prototyping. At eBay, she redesigned the entire media category and key users touchpoints such as the Home page.
She earned three master’s degrees: in Industrial Design from Scuola di Design in Milano, Italy; in Interaction Design from the Interaction Design Institute in Ivrea; and in Literature and Philosophy from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.

Corey Chandler has worked as an Interaction Designer for the past 8 years at eBay, Microsoft, and UC Berkeley. He is an expert in search experience design and is the co-author of several design patents in that area. Corey is an active participant in the design community, including teaching courses at Computer-Human Interaction (CHI) conferences and hosting a panel at South by Southwest Interactive.
Corey has a bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science from UC Berkeley.

Over the last 10 years, Joanna Escolar has worked as a visual designer with a range of companies, including eBay, Industry Next, Viant, Total Entertainment Network, and Catapult Entertainment. She takes a creative and practical approach to ensure the resulting designs effectively address business goals and engage customers.
She has a bachelor’s degree in Communication Design from the Illinois Institute of Technology.

Ann Bishop is an experience and content strategist with over 15 years experience in media, ecommerce, and service companies and start ups. She has managed teams and led large-scale projects for Microsoft, Travelocity, and Yahoo!. Most recently, she built the Content Strategy practice at eBay and led user studies exploring voice and design directions for eBay’s holistic design team.
She takes a human-centered approach to all her projects, with a focus on user research, informed brainstorming, and prototyping. She has spoken at Adaptive Path’s UX Week and led workshops on brand and content strategy. She holds a BA in English from the University of California, Berkeley.
